National Holy Quran Week Concludes in Algeria

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The participants at the 17th National Holy Quran Week in Algeria, which concluded on Wednesday, called for the creation of the medal of the servant of Holy Quran.

They recommended the creation of the medal of the servant of Holy Quran to encourage all the works aimed at defending the image of Islam.

The participants further said that the message of Algeria’s President Bouteflika, read by the adviser to the Presidency of the Republic Mohamed Ali Boughazi, is a "working method” of the Religious Affairs and Waqf department in coordination with all the state bodies, through which the value of work, the essence of Islam, will be promoted and encouraged.

The participants also called to launch reflections on mechanisms to be adopted when reviewing the mode of consumption, AllAfrica.com reported.

They also called for the promotion of charitable actions in society and the reinforcement of the values of tolerance and the acceptance of others' opinions.
