Islam Studies Course Held in Zimbabwe

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The second edition of a course on “Studies of Islam” was organized for 20 days in Mutare, Zimbabwe.

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Imam Hussein (AS) public hall in the city hosted the educational program held in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in Zimbabwe and the country’s Institute of Islamic Studies.

Prophethood, the Resurrection, social injunctions, social ethics, the Muslim world, Islamic civilization, family and the political system of Islam were the themes of the course.

The participants were awarded certificates and the top ones were honored in a ceremony held at the end of the program with the participation of the Iranian cultural attaché in Zimbabwe, charitable Iranian figures residing in this country and a number of Shia Muslims of the region.

God, humanity, the history of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), individual ethics, personal injunctions, purification of the soul, and the Islamic calendar were the themes of the first edition of the course organized in December 2015.
