“Best Quran Recitations” Competition Concludes in Gaza
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quran competition organized in Gaza Strip to identify the best Quran reciters of the region concluded on January 14.
According to alwatanvoice.com, it was organized by the Office of Quran Recitations and Documents affiliated to the Dar-ol-Quran and Sunnah of Gaza.
The winners of the competition were awarded at the closing ceremony attended by Abdul Rahman Al-Jamal, the head of the Dar-ol-Quran, members of the center’s official council and a number of Quran reciters of the region.
Addressing the ceremony, Al-Jamal appreciated the efforts of the office in dissemination of Quran education culture and praised the beautiful Quran recitations of the participants.
He also lauded the efforts of different branches of the Dar-ol-Quran in introducing top Qaris of the region and supporting the competition.
