The attack on Sunday left 27 people dead or injured.
Issuing a message on Monday, Abdullah underlined that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
All of the country’s security and intelligence agency have been tasked to investigate the incident and identify those behind it, he said.

Abdullah added that those who committed "this barbaric crime” revealed their enmity toward Islamic and human values and proved they have no affiliation to any religion, sect, ethnicity or race.
Nangarhar is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan located in the eastern part of the country.
