TEHRAN (IQNA) – A series of specialized forums on “Imamate of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) based on Quran” has been organized by the Dar-ol-Quran Center of Imam Ali’s (AS) holy shrine in Najaf, Iraq.

According to the website of the Dar-ol-Quran, Allameh Seyyed Sami Al-Badri, an expert of the seminary in the holy city of Najaf, presents speeches in the weekly Quranic sessions.

"Imam Hassan (AS)” Hall next to the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) hosts the sessions attended by university students, teachers and Quran activists.

Safa Mahdi Al-Ameri, member of the Quran Teaching Section affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine, said that the sessions began on January 6 and will continue until March 20.

He added that the Quranic sessions have been planned in line with the educational programs for the teachers of the Dar-ol-Quran, and Quran reciters and memorizers.

The main objective of the programs is to get the participants more acquainted with the meanings of the Quranic verses and to make use of the interpretation of the verses to clarify the concept of "Imamate” as one of the principles of Islam, Al-Ameri said.
