TEHRAN (IQNA) - Shaikha Dhaen Saeed Al Siridi, who lives in Azan Town in Ras Al Khaimah, the united Arab Emirates, may be 82 years old, but that did not prevent the woman from memorizing 10 of the 30 Juzes (parts) of the Holy Quran.

With a strong will she insists on learning the Holy Quran by heart despite the fact that she cannot read or write.

As a resourceful woman, she raises goats and is an expert in herbal medicine.

Never Too Late to Memorize Holy Quran

What makes things easier and more exciting for Umm Mohammed is a digital Quran read pen.

"As I cannot read or write, the digital pen was useful in properly reading and repeating verses of the Quran one by one and as many times as I wish, and hence I have been able to learn the Quran by heart simpler and faster," she said.

To perfect her memorization, Shaikha joined a Holy Quran study center at the Azan town, one of the many branches under the RAK Quran Award since its inception.

"I wanted to learn, and managed to memorize ten parts of the Quran so far," she went on to say.
