“Contemplating the Quran” Course to Be Held in Oman

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An educational course on “Contemplating the Quran” will be held starting from January 31 in Muscat, the capital city of Oman.

According to Qaf news agency, the Idrak Center will organize the two-day course in Al-Khuwayr district of the city.

The concepts of Surah al-Nahl have been selected to be discussed in the course which teaches the participants how to be thankful.

The concept of thankfulness has been mentioned in different verses of the Surah, for example verse 78: "And Allah has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks (to Allah)” as well as verse 121: "(Abraham was) thankful for His (Allah's) Graces. He (Allah) chose him (as an intimate friend) and guided him to a Straight Path.”

Salah Al-Yafi’i, who teaches courses such as "emotional intelligence”, "seven habits of the genius”, "promotion of moral values through games”, will instruct the Quranic program.

"Analysis of the concepts of praising and thankfulness according to Quranic verses”, "thankfulness as an act of worship” and "acting upon the teachings of Surah al-Nahl” are the themes of the course.
