It was organized by the World Alliance of Students Associations in cooperation with the Youths in Support of Quds and Palestine movement.
Tens of political and media activists from 30 Muslim countries attended the event, held on Friday and Saturday, February 5-6, al-Arabi al-Jadid website reported.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Ziad Abu Mukhalla, member of the alliance and secretary of the conference, said it aimed to underscore the option of resistance in all its political, technical, scientific, ideological and media forms in order to liberate Quds.

"We seek to unify Muslim world students associations to reach the objective (of liberating) Quds and this can be achieved through unity and solidarity in the Muslim world,” he added.
A recorded message from senior Hamas figure Ismail Haniyeh was also played at the conference in which he called on the Arab and Muslim Ummah to intensify efforts for an end to the Zionist regime’s blockade of the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Strip has been under an Israeli siege since June 2007.
The blockade has caused a decline in the standards of living as well as unprecedented levels of unemployment and unrelenting poverty.
The Zionist regime denies about 1.8 million people in Gaza their basic rights, such as freedom of movement, jobs with proper wages as well as adequate healthcare and education.
