Digital Quran Copies Gifted to Visually Impaired in Morocco

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Kuwait’s Ministry of Awqaf and Malaysia’s Taslim Institute gifted some digital audio copies of the Holy Quran to the visually impaired in Morocco.

According to Hamarain News, the centers for supporting the visually impaired in Morocco received collections of audio files of the Quran on the sidelines of the 22nd international book fair of Casablanca.

Imad Al-Matwa’, the director general of Kuwait’s Al-Manabir Center affiliated to the country’s ministry of Awqaf, said that the digital copies of the Quran will facilitate the reading and memorization of the Divine verses for this group of people.

Digital Quran Gifted to Moroccan Visually Impaired

Each of the copies costs 120 dollars, he said.

Badr Al-Aqeel Al-Azimi, the director of the Cultural Committee of the ministry, said that the plan was part of various programs to be implemented jointly by Kuwait’s Awqaf Ministry and Morocco’s Ministry of Culture.

The 22nd edition of international book fair in Casablanca got underway on February 12 and will continue until February 21.
