3000 Iraqi Women Attend Quranic Course in Karbala
According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine, the course on Quran memorization and Islamic sciences has been organized by the Astan and will continue for 10 days.
Sheikh Ali Al-Mutairi, head of the Women Section for Religious Dissemination of the Astan, said that the participants are different ages and from different provinces of the country.
Quran memorization, Quranic meanings and concepts, Islamic jurisprudence, ethics and Islamic beliefs are among the themes of the course.
It is among the annual programs of the Astan for the women of the region.
Sarwar Mahdi, organizer of the Astan’s educational courses for women, said that the best method for memorizing the Quran in a short time is to listen to the verses and that is the method used in the course.
