Quran and Etrat Exhibition Planned in Iraq’s Erbil

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The managing director of Iran’s Union of Quran and Etrat Institutes said it plans to organize a Quran and Etrat exhibition in the Iraqi city of Erbil.

Hossein Mohammadi told Fars news agency that the idea of holding the exhibition was proposed by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and the union was chosen for mounting it in the Iraqi city.

He said the expo is slated to be held from February 29 to March 10 with the cooperation of the Basij Dar-ol-Quran center, the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, and the Supreme Quran Council, among others.

According to Mohammadi, the exhibition will have different sections, including Quran copies published in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Quranic software products, books, Quranic arts and Iran’s Quranic achievements.

He said a number of Quran recitation programs will be organized on the sidelines of the expo with the participation of prominent Iranian Qaris.

Mosques, universities and other public places will host the Quran recitation sessions, he went on to say.
