The program was broadcast by the l-Masar al-Oula satellite network, the report said.

The Rasul Azam Quranic center is directed by Sheikh Iyad al-Ka’abi and its activities are supervised by prominent cleric Sayyed Majid al-Mubarqa.

Iraq has seen a surge in Quranic activities in the past few years following the fall of former dictator Saddam Hussein’s regime.
