TEHRAN (IQNA) – The final stage of the first edition of Quran competition for Iranian students residing in Europe began on March 4 at the Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center of Hamburg.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ansari, the cultural deputy of the Islamic center, in an address to the ceremony stressed the importance of learning Quranic teachings and holding Quran competitions.
The program concluded with Tawasheeh performance by the Alghadir group.
Momeni noted that the participants compete on Quran memorization, recitation, Quranic concepts and Adhan (call to prayers).
