Elderly Women Quran Memorizers Honored in Palestine
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Islamic Charity Society in the Palestinian city of Al-Khalil (Hebron) in a ceremony honored a number of elderly women for their Quranic achievement.
According to al-Yawm24 website, 20 women were honored at the event for having managed to learn the entire Holy Quran after the age of 50.
Five of the women are physically disabled and five have memorized the Quran after the age of 60.
Despite the Zionist occupation of Palestine, the Palestinian people have kept developing Quranic activities for years.
There are many people in the Arab country who have memorized the Holy Book.
