Quran Translations Displayed in Moscow

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Translations of the Holy Quran in different languages were put on display in a program in the Russian capital of Moscow.

The Open Mosque Day program was held by the Muftiat Council of Russia in Moscow’s grand mosque, according to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO).

Al-Mustafa International University and the Islamic Studies Foundation of Russia also cooperated in organizing the event on the weekend.

As well as Quran translations, photos and Islamic arts works were put on show at the program.

There was also a Quran memorization and recitation competition and an educational program on prayers.

According to Al-Dar Hazrat Allaedinov, the prayers leader of the grand mosque, the Open Mosque Program was aimed at helping followers of other faiths to earn about Islam.
