Quran Memorization Center Opens in India’s Kerala

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A new center for teaching Quran memorization to children was opened by The Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) in Kerala State of South India.

Quran Memorization Center Opens in India’s Kerala

According to Al-Sharq website, the center has been established on a 265-square meter site in two floors. It has four classes, an office, library and a room for Quran teachers.

It will host 150 children aged from 5 to 10 who will not only memorize the Holy Quran’s verses but will get acquainted with religious sciences.

Some 4000 Muslims reside in the region who can benefit the services of the center.

There will be evening classes for Quran memorization, recitation principles and religious beliefs planned for adults of the region.

The Qatari foundation (RAF) opens Islamic centers and Quran memorization institutes and distributes Quran copies in different parts of the world.
