
According to the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine, 45 Quran activists from different parts of the country participated in the competition, which began on May 16.
Rasul Al-Wazni, supervisor of the competition said that "Seyyed Muhsin Al-Sami” Husseiniyya (public hall for religious ceremonies) hosted the national event.
The main objective of the competition was to promote Quranic skills and knowledge of Quran activists and train top Quranic elites.
Sayyed Badri Al-A’raji and Heidar Jari respectively supervised the two-day competition in the categories of "Waqf and Ibtida” and "Sowt and Lahn.”
