Course on Quranic Maqamat Underway in Gaza
According to paltimes website, the course began on May 24 and will continue for three weeks.
The classes are held two days a week and taught by expert Qaris of the region.
According to the organizers, 10 top Quran reciters have participated in the educational program.
It has been planned in line with the religious-Quranic activities of the mosque.
Promoting the Quran recitation skills of the Qaris and training a new generation of preachers who can perform Tarawih prayers are among the objectives of the course.
The prayer is congregationally performed by Sunni Muslims at mosques during the holy month of Ramadan. One Juz (part) of the Quran is read in every day of the holy month in this prayer so that the entire Quran is read by the end of the month.
