According to Qaaf news agency, the "Husseini Voice” Section affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine has organized the program, which started in March.
The Dar-ol-Quran of the Astan has cooperated in holding the six-month course as part of a series of programs planned to teach Quran reading principles to youths.
The classes are held after the evening prayers on Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week.
Quranic activities have significantly grown in Iraq since the 2003 overthrow of former dictator Saddam Hussein.
