According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine, the sessions are held at "Abu Talib (AS)" Hall after the morning prayers with the participation of eminent Qaris and a large number of pilgrims.
Sheikh Mustafa Abultabuq, head of the religious affairs section of the Astan, said that the Dar-ol-Quran of Imam Ali’s (AS) holy shrine also organizes Quran reading sessions after the noon and evening prayers.
Iftar (fast breaking) ceremonies as well as an educational-cultural program for children are among other Ramadan activities of the center, he added.
He went on to say that besides the various halls of the holy shrine, tens of mosques and husseiniyyahs (public halls for religious ceremonies) all over the province host Quranic sessions during the holy month of fasting, which began on June 7.
