
According to hespress.com, the program was organized on the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan by the country's Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
Sheikh Abdullah Sama and Ms. La’ziza Ayat Al-Talib were honored as the two Quran activists of the country involved in the teaching of Quran memorization.
Ibrahim Al-Bundaq from Ouazzane town and Muhammad Ilyas Al-Diyaz from Larache city were the first rank winners of the competition, respectively in memorization of the entire Quran with Tarteel and memorization of five Hizbs (sections) of the Quran with Tajweed principles, who were awarded in the ceremony.
The top participant in the category of Tajweed principles and memorization of five Hizbs in Mashriqi style, was Abdullah Al-Nahiwi.
Fatiha Al-Zuwaini, reporter of the Quran TV, Raja Aluni, reporter of Quran Radio of Morocco, and Sa’eed Al-Sahrawi, a disabled memorizer of the Quran, were also honored at the ceremony.
