Quran Memorization Center Opens in Kenya
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Qatar’s Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) opened a Quran memorization center called “Al-Rahmah” in Kenya.
According to Al-Sharq website, about 20000 people of Ajara region and nearby towns can benefit from the Quranic courses provided at the center.
It has three classes and a library and is ready to host 100 girls and boys in Quran memorization classes.
The students will also learn Quran reading principles and religious sciences.
The center was opened in line with the foundation’s "Abwaab Al-Rahmah” Plan to establish Islamic and Quranic centers in different countries with the aim of meeting the needs of Muslims around the world.
The centers play an important role in training Quran memorizers and raising a generation based on Quranic teachings, increase Muslims’ religious knowledge and introduce Islam to non-Muslims, the foundation says.
