Nat’l Quran Memorization Competition Planned in Jordan
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 20th edition of the national Quran memorization competition in Jordan will be organized starting from October 1 by one of the country’s Quranic associations.
According to hoffaz.org, registration for the competition will begin from August 1 and continue until September 30.
The categories of the competition will include memorization of the entire Quran and different Juzes (parts) of Quran.
The director of the association said that the Quranic event will be organized for various age groups of male and female Quran activists as well as foreigners residing in Jordan.
There are no age limits for taking part in the national Quranic event.
A few days ago Jordan held the 24th edition of its international Quran competition.
28 Quran memorizers from different Arab and Muslim countries took part in the competition, held at Abdullah bin al-Hussein Mosque in Amman on June 25-29.
