Speaking to IQNA, Hojat-ol-Islam Majid Ansari noted that the scope of Islamic human rights even goes beyond the rights of human beings and incorporates the rights of others including the environment, animals, plants, etc.
He said the teachings of Islam on rights, especially human rights, are so rich that leave no vacuum in the field.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ansari added that there are some issues portrayed as human rights that are against the nature of human beings.
For example, Islam does not accept absolute sexual freedom, he noted.
