Tehran to Host Iran-Austria Inter-Religious Dialogue

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 7th round of religious dialogue between Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) and Austria’s Catholic Church will be held in September 2017 in Tehran.

According to ICRO’s website, "Man and Nature; Religious Diversity and National and Transnational Perspectives” is the title of this round of the talks.

It was planned in a meeting of Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Mahdi Taskhiri, the head of the International Center for Interreligious Dialogue of the organization with Eliza Vergetter, the head of International Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue of Austria.

Both sides came to agreement on how to hold the 7thround of the dialogue and according to the agreements, it will be held in Tehran in September 2017.

During 22 years, six rounds of the religious dialogue have been held between the International Center for Interreligious Dialogue of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and the Catholic Church of Austria.

"Justice in International Relations and in Religions from the Views of Muslim and Christian Scholars", "Values, Rights, Duties and Fundamental Issues of Equitable Coexistence System from the Views of Muslim and Christian Scholars", "Peace, Justice and Inhibiting Factors in the Contemporary World", "Hermeneutics", "Religion, Ethics and Law", and "Islam and Christianity Cooperation for the Promotion of the Place of Human Values, Freedom and Justice" are the titles of the six previous rounds.
