Teenage Qaris from Iran’s Southeastern Province Recite Quran in Karbala
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A number of teenage Iranian Qaris from Zahedan, the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, attended a Quran recitation session in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq.
The Qaris, who are in Karbala to take part in the second edition of "Enthusiasm for Recitation) Quran competition, recited verses from the Holy Quran in the session.
It was held at Bayn al-Ḥaramayn (the distance between the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) and the holy shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS).
The teenagers were selected to make the trip to Karbala for having the best performance in the national Tilawa (recitation) Plan.
