GIEEC, according to its website, is the world’s first platform advancing and empowering the global Islamic economy through entrepreneurship.

The first edition of the convention took place at Dubai World Trade Centre in 2016. Twenty-nine leading speakers within the global halal economy gave participants exposure to learning more about how to start companies serving the Muslim lifestyle market, how to effectively market to Muslim consumers, and connect with other business professionals in an effort to grow their own ventures.

GIEEC 2017, meanwhile, offers a holistic, integrated entrepreneurship and Small Medium Enterprise (SME) platform for promoting entrepreneurship and business expertise among speakers and delegates to foster a culture of entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity for young entrepreneurs in the rapidly growing global halal economy in addition to the latest updates and information to help SMES grow.
