According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the center has invited the Meshkat Tawasheeh (religious sons) group to Thailand during the holy month of Ramadan.

The group has performed Tawasheeh and other religious programs in mosques and religious centers in Bangkok and nearby cities and in the city of Mandalay in Myanmar.

Some of the mosques hosting the programs included Imam Ali (AS) and al-Huda mosques in Bangkok, and Saheb az-Zaman (AS) Mosque in Pathum Thani.

Muslims are the second largest religious group in Thailand making up around 5 percent of the total population.

Most Muslims live in the southern provinces of the country.

Every year during Ramadan, ICRO sends Quran and Tawasheeh groups to different countries to hold Quranic and religious programs for Muslim worshippers.
