TEHRAN (IQNA) – An imprisonment renewal was ordered in Egypt against an admin of a controversial Facebook page called “el-Molhedeen” (The Atheists) for 15 days, pending investigation over charges of posting violations in offence of Holy Quranic verses.

Prosecution revealed that the perpetrator, Ibrahim Kh., a 29-year-old graduate from the Faculty of Computer Science, violated verses of the Quran and shared photos and posts on Facebook alluding no existence of God.
Investigations disclosed that the controversial online page has 34K members and its admin created it to call for debauchery and homosexual acts.
The defendant confessed to investigators that he neither believes in God’s existence nor organized religions, and that he created the online page to give voice to his ideas.
