TEHRAN (IQNA) – The shrine of Imamzadeh Sayyid Muhammad, the son of the 10th Shia Imam, Imam Hadi (AS) is located in the city of Balad, Iraq’s Saladin Governorate.

Iraqi people, especially those in Samarra, north of Baghdad, greatly revere the religious figure.
The Daesh terrorist group made several attempts to destroy the shrine and kill people there.
In 2016, three Daesh terrorist detonated their suicide belts near the shrine causing the martyrdom of tens of people.
