Int’l Conference on Seerah of Holy Prophet Underway in Tunisia
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Tunisia’s ministry of religious affairs is holding a conference on the Seerah (life and sayings) of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
According to al-Maghrib website, this is the 46th edition of the conference.
The two-day event, titled “Seerah of the Prophet, Manifestation of Islamic Teachings and Social Values”, started on Saturday.
The city of Kairouan, north of the country, is hosting the conference, which has been organized on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday.
Scholars and personalities from Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Mauritania are present at the conference.
