TEHRAN (IQNA) – A special prayer hall has been launched for the hearing-impaired in the holy city fo Makkah.

According to Misrawi news website, a number of sign language interpreters are present at the prayer hall during Friday prayers or other occasions to help the hearing-impaired understand the sermons.
The department in charge of running the affairs of Masjid al-Haram has launched the prayer hall.
The department said it also provides the visually-impaired in the city’s holy places with white canes, Quran copies and books and maps in braille.
