Rally Held in Malaysia in Solidarity with Palestine

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Muslim Youth Movement in Malaysia organized a rally in front of the UN mission in Kuala Lumpur to voice solidarity with the Palestinian nation.

 

According to Palestine.info website, Mohammad Abdul Aziz, head of the movement, addressed the rally, saying Malaysia supports the Palestinian nation in the face of challenges and threats.

He also called on the UN to implement United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334.

Meanwhile, Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia Wali Abu Ali lauded Kuala Lumpur’s unwavering policy of supporting the cause of Palestine.

He also underlined that the international community should fulfil its responsibility to end the occupation of Palestine.

UN Security Council Resolution 2334 was adopted on December 23, 2016. It concerns illegal Israeli settlements in Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem al-Quds. The resolution passed in a 14–0 vote by members of the UN Security Council.
