Gen. Soleimani’s Martyrdom to Strengthen Resistance Front: Daughter

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Martyred Iranian General Qassem Soleimani’s daughter said the US and Zionist regime must realize that her father’s martyrdom will only lead to more awakening and to strengthening of the Resistance Front in the region.

Speaking at the funeral procession of her father here in Tehran on Monday morning, Zeinab Soleimani warned that the martyrdom will bring darker days for the United States and Israel.

She said US President Donald Trump’s “evil scheme to cause separation between the two nations of Iraq and Iran” by killing Soleimani and the deputy commander of Iraq’s Hashd al-Shaabi (PMU) Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis has failed.

“Trump, you compulsive gambler, your evil scheme to cause separation between the two nations of Iraq and Iran with your strategic mistake in assassinating both Haj Qassem and Abu Mahdi has failed and it has only caused historical unity between two nations and their mutual eternal hatred for the United States,” she said.

“You crazy Trump, you are the symbol of stupidity and a toy in the hand of international Zionists,” Zeinab Soleimani added.

“This heinous crime committed by the Americans shows the spirit of criminality and bullying that covers all crimes of bloodshed, especially on the land of Palestine.”

Millions of people packed the streets of Tehran on Monday to pay homage to General Soleimani who was assassinated on Trump’s order Friday.

A huge sea of mourners, streaming from all the adjoining streets, descended on the iconic Engelab (Revolution) Square in central Tehran early Monday morning for a march to Azadi Tower.

They carried portraits of the national hero whose assassination in a US airstrike at Baghdad portrait has generated an outpouring of anger and patriotism across Iran.
