Dar-ul-Quran Center Launched in Indonesia’s Tangerang

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Dar-ol-Quran center was launched in the city of Tangerang in central Indonesia.

 

Minister of Religious Affairs Fachrul Razi and senior Indonesian scholar Yusuf Mansour attended the opening ceremony.

In an address, Mansour expressed hope that the center will be successful in teaching the Quran and positively affect the students’ thinking and wisdom.

Tangerang is a city in the province of Banten, located on the western border of Jakarta.

The Republic of Indonesia is a transcontinental country in Southeast Asia and Oceania, between the Indian and Pacific oceans.

Islam is the religion in the country with most adherents, with more than 87% of Indonesian population identifying themselves as Muslim.
