According to Palestine Online, Mohammad Sha’sha’a, director of “Al-Shafee’” Quran memorization plan being implemented at the Dar-ol-Quran and Sunnah of Gaza, said that the online Quranic circles serve about 100,000 girls and boys.
Bilal Emad, deputy of the Dar-ol-Quran’s director general said that the Dar-ol-Quran launched the Electronic Center for Teaching Quran in 2015 and it now has become a center for teaching Quran to Muslims around the world.
He added that the center works with 50 Quran memorization experts teaching students in 75 countries, but after the closure of mosques and Quran classes in Gaza, the potentials of the center have been used for students in Gaza.
Quran reading, Tajweed principles, Nabawi Sunnah and Quranic sciences are among the topics covered in the online circles.
