‘Prophet Joseph’ TV Series Broadcast in Tunisia in Ramadan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Iranian TV series Yousuf-e-Payambar (Joseph, the Prophet) is being aired by Nasma TV Channel in Tunisia.

 

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, it is one of 26 TV series produced by Iran, Tunisia, Turkey, Syria, Qatar and Egypt that are broadcast by the TV channel in the holy month of Ramadan.

Directed by Farajullah Salahshur, Yousuf-e-Payambar is a 2008 Iranian television series. It tells the story of Prophet Joseph (AS) from his childhood to his prophehood in Egypt based on the Quran and Islamic traditions.

It has been dubbed into Arabic and there is also another version with English subtitles.

The lead role of the film is played by Mostafa Zamani. The cast of the 45-episode series includes Jafar Dehqan, Katayoun Riyahi, Mahmoud Pak-Niyat and Amir Hossein Modarres.
