Imam Ali’s (AS) Holy Shrine Hosts Quranic Circles on Eid Al-Ghadir

TEHRAN (IQNA) – TV Quranic programs were organized on the occasion of Eid Al-Ghadir at the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) in Najaf, Iraq.

 

The Holy Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine held the programs in cooperation with the satellite center of the Astan.

Abdul Hadi Al-Abedi, head of the Quranic circles section of the Astanو said that the Holy Quran Center always commemorates religious occasions including the birthday anniversary of Ahlul-Bayt (AS) by holding Quranic programs.

Previous years’ programs were held with the participation of a large number of pilgrims of the holy shrine, but this year’s Eid Al-Ghadir was celebrated in a TV Quranic program due to the coronavirus restrictions.

He added that the first night session of the programs included Quran recitations by Alaa Al-Sadeqi, Qari and Muazzin of Kufa Mosque, and Ali Al-Zubaidi, a Quran reciter of Najaf, a religious speech delivered by Seyyed Qatad Al-Husseini, and Tawasheeh performance by Amer Al-Kazemi.

Sheikh Shubbar Ma’lah, Qari and Muazzin of the Astan, and Amer Al-Kazemi recited Quran’s verses on the second night.

Choral religious singing by the singing group of the Astan and Tawasheeh performance by Qasim Al-Jabouri other parts of the programs.
