TEHRAN (IQNA) – A four-year-old girl in Egypt astounded the viewers of Al-Hayat TV by answering questions about math and reciting verses of the Quran from memory.

Noor Makki attended one of the TV’s live programs on Sunday and answered all the questions she was asked without batting an eyelid, Elbalad News reported.

She has memorized verses of the Quran and remembers the number of each verse she is asked to recite.

Noor said she wishes to become a doctor to help people when she grows up.

The Holy Quran is the only religious Scripture that is memorized by its followers.

Innumerable persons in every Muslim community have memorized the Quran since the first day it was revealed.

The Quran has 30 Juzes (parts), 114 Surahs (chapters) and 6,236 verses.
