Top Quran Memorizers of Astan of Hazrat Abdul Azim Shrine Honored
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A ceremony was held at the holy shrine of Hazrat Abdul Azim (AS) in Rey, south of Tehran, on Tuesday to honor top Quran memorizers of the Quranic center of the Astan (custodianship) of the shrine.
A number of veteran Quran activists and officials of the Astan, including Abbas Salimi, the cultural deputy of the Astan, attended the ceremony.
Addressing the event, highlighted the importance of promoting Quranic activities.
He also underlined that Quran learners are more than others required to observe ethical and moral principles.
Seven women and three men who have attended the Quranic courses of the Astan in recent years were honored at the ceremony.
