Malaysian PM Reciting Quran (+Video)
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Footage has been released in social media showing Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin reciting verses from the Quran.
The footage has been shared by Fahad bin Mohammed Kafood, Qatar’s Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur.
Accompanied by his wife, Yassin recites verses from Surah Al-Waqi’a (56) in Tarteel style.
Born in 1947, Yassin is a politician who has served as the 8th prime minister of Malaysia since March 2020.
Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country whose most professed religion is Islam. As of 2013, there were approximately 20 million Muslim adherents, or 62% of the population.
