Rashid Ja’farpur, head of the religious and Quranic activities office of the ministry, told IQNA that the festival's competition, which is being held in men and women sections, will continue until November 14.
Noting that this year’s competition is being held online, he said Isfahan University of Technology hosts the jury panel of the competition.
He added that some 200 university students have participated in this edition.
Memorization of the entire Quran, and memorization of 20, 10 and 5 Juzes (parts) of Quran, Tahghigh and Tarteel recitation and Adhan (for male participants) are the categories of the Quran competition.
The closing ceremony of the festival will be held on November 15.
