Iranian, Omani Officials Discuss Developing Quranic Ties

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Oman Seyed Ali Mousavizadeh held talks with the deputy Awqaf minister of the Arab country.

 

Mousavizadeh in this meeting underlined the need for using the potentials of the two countries to cooperate in religious, Quranic and Fiqh fields.

He also highlighted the longstanding relations between Iran and Oman and said Tehran is ready for expanding cooperation with Muscat in Quranic fields.

Muhammad bin Saeed al-Muammari, the Omani official for his part, said the two countries have had good relations based on respect throughout history.

He added that Oman and Iran have good capacities for cooperation in Quranic affairs and religious sciences and efforts should be made to develop relations in these fields.
