According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Mohammad Niyaz from Thaqafat Center of Baluchistan Province in a meeting with Seyyed Hussein Taqizadeh Waqefi, Iran’s cultural representative and head of the Iranian Cultural Center in Quetta, invited him to visit the expo.
Niyaz also highlighted the potentials of Quetta calligraphers and artworks by Pakistani calligraphers from all over the country, including Quetta have been put on display at the exhibition.
Niyaz further said that Thaqafat center is ready to cooperate with the Iranian center in cultural and arts fields.
The Iranian official, for his part, expressed hope that after the coronavirus pandemic ends, the two centers will be able to jointly hold an exhibition to present artworks of Iranian and Pakistani artists and calligraphers.
A copy of the Holy Quran printed in a beautiful script was gifted to the Pakistani official at the meeting.
