Colonel Ramezan’ali Rudmoqaddas, Head of the Quran, Etrat and Prayers Office of the Dissemination Center of NAJA’s Political-Religious Organization, told IQNA that the competition has been organized in 9 categories.
Tahqeeq and Tarteel recitation of Quran, memorization of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 Juzes (parts) of Quran, Quranic concepts and interpretation of Quran at two levels are the categories of this year’s competition, he said.
Rudmoqaddas added that the online Quranic event is supervised by a group of experts including Mahboubeh Katib, Ma’soumeh Agahi, Hajar Aswar, Moqaddasi and Mahdavi.
The competition for 60 participants on December 8 was held from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. local time.
Rudmoqaddas said that the Quran competition for 218 male members of the armed forces will be held in two groups and 10 categories next week.
The closing ceremony of the competition will be held in a video conference on December 17.
