Nasr al-Shammari reacted sharply to speculations and targeted statements aimed at normalizing compromise between Iraq and the usurping Zionist regime, according to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-Nujaba in Iran.
In a tweet to the compromisers, al-Shammari wrote, “Iraq is not your paternal property to confiscate its history, sanctities and ideological-social principles.”
Referring to the fatwa of the martyred Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad-Baqir al-Sadr that “peace with the Israeli enemy is considered as departure from religion,” he warned individuals and parties that are trying to normalize relations with the occupying regime in al-Quds, “This ruling is public and clear. Therefore, be wise, learn a lesson and do not fall into ruin with your own hands!”
