Syrian Forces Foil Terrorist Plot near Damascus

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Syria foiled an explosives plot near the capital Damascus, the state news agency reported.

SANA said security forces killed three terrorists and arrested three more.  

It quoted a security source as stating that the plot, which involved the use of explosive belts, was foiled with the cooperation of residents from two villages in rural Damascus.

The source added that in cooperation with honest citizens in Zakyah and Kanaker in Damascus countryside, the terrorist operation, plotted by terrorists and Takfiri groups against Damascus was foiled.

The source said that they had been sent by terrorist organizations to target Damascus city.
