It will be organized following the International Quds Day with the participation of Palestinian Ambassador to Iran Salah al-Zawawi and a number of political figures and university scholars from Iran and a number of other Muslim countries.
The social and cultural deputy of the Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Mohsen Meschi, member of Iran’s parliament Zohreh Sadat Lajevardi, former lawmaker Effat Shariati, Press TV anchor Marzieh Hashemi, Indonesian anti-Zionism activist Amina Yahya, Lebanese university and seminary scholar Zuhra Badreddin, and Syrian scholar Aeda Talib are among the speakers at the online seminar.
The International Quds Day is a legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, who designated the day in solidarity with Palestinians.
Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, the International Quds Day has been held worldwide on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
This year, the International Quds Day fell on Friday, May 7.
