Promoting Islamic Proximity Al-Mustafa Int’l University’s Main Strategy: Official

TEHRAN (IQNA) – President of Al-Mustafa International University Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Abbasi said the university’s main strategy is promoting proximity among Islamic schools of thought.

 

Speaking in a meeting on Monday with the governor of Bertoua in Cameroon’s East Region, he said the university is a member of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World and its doors are open to those who wish to study Islamic sciences.

He noted that students from countries around the world are studying at the higher education center.

Hojat-ol-Islam Abbasi said proximity among Islamic schools of thought and developing interactions among followers of different faiths are the main strategies of the university.

The cleric also welcomed the idea of developing cooperation with Cameroon in scholarly and academic activities.

Mohammad Jafar, the Cameroonian official, for his part, hailed the good ties between Iran and his country.

He also thanked Al-Mustafa International University’s branch in Cameroon for its services over the past two decades.

Al-Mustafa International University is a religious and Islamic university established to expand and introduce Islamic and religious teachings in the world through modern facilities and technologies.

Based in the north-central Iranian city of Qom, it is known internationally and has trained many prominent scholars and researchers.
