Nasrallah, Haniyeh Discuss Regional Developments
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh met with Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, on Tuesday.
The two sides discussed regional developments and the Palestinians’ recent Sword of Quds Operation against the Zionist regime.
The also underlined the need for development of the relations between the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements, el-Nashra website reported.
Haniyeh, who arrived in Lebanon on Sunday, is heading a senior Hamas delegation.
The delegation is also going to hold talks with the Lebanese president, prime minister and parliament speaker.
Development of cooperation with the aim of serving the interests of the Palestinian and Lebanese nations will be among the topics to be discussed at the meetings.
The Hamas delegation has held talks in Morocco and Mauritania before arriving in Lebanon.
